Vanda Research provides tactical macro research and positioning data to the financial services community. Vanda has become the market leader in its area through direct sales, word of mouth, etc. and is now looking to expand its brand presence by bringing on board a Marketing Specialist. This pivotal role is integral to our ambitious growth plans and will report directly to the Global Head of Sales & Marketing.

As our Marketing Specialist, you will be the driving force behind increasing inbound sales leads (and, by extension, revenue) through strategic social media engagement, innovative website design and captivating email marketing campaigns, driving brand awareness. You will own and foster relationships with leading institutions such as the Financial Times, the Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg, and Business Insider, among others. You will spearhead competitive intelligence initiatives to ensure that Vanda stays ahead of the curve.

Lead and expand Vanda’s social media presence across various platforms, top-tier news agencies and data vendors.
Craft, execute and refine email marketing campaigns to increase engagement and drive conversions.
Analyse campaign performance and provide actionable insights to improve future marketing efforts.
Integrate marketing campaigns with Vanda's (brand) new CRM system.
Partner with sales to optimise outreach and cleanup unresponsive or bounced recipients, an important driver of new sales.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in marketing and social media, including new vendors.
Collect competitive intelligence on adjacent providers and present periodically to senior management.
Monthly incorporation of marketing results into board decks.

Demonstrable experience in email marketing and social media management.
Proficiency with email marketing tools (e.g., Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
