HMP YOI Doncaster is a busy remand prison, and no 2 days are ever the same in this challenging, yet rewarding role Join the Recovery Team and empower those whom wish to make changes in their behaviour to promote health and well-being through recovery from drugs and alcohol. This is a crucial role within the healthcare team, making a real difference to patients, and delivering outstanding care. Hours This is a full time role, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Shifts are 8:00 am - 4:00pm. Salary This position is full time , you’ll receive an annual salary of up to £33,510 dependent on experience. How will we support you? Some of your duties will include: Carry out assessments with substance misuse patients Delivery group sessions based on psychosocial interventions Manage a caseload of patients (around 40 - 50) with substance misuse needs Assist with release and transfer, ensuring that patients receive follow on care Help out in primary care and mental health as needed, including obs and medication Offer advice on harm reduction, relapse prevention, SMART training etc If you are interested in career development, we have a wide range of opportunities for you to develop your skills and experience, which include both internal and external options for development and learning.
