Reporting of the role:
This role reports into the Internal Communications & Culture Manager.

Overview of job:
This role will be responsible for developing strategic and creative internal communications campaigns and activations to connect and inspire Globallers with our vision, culture, and values across the UK.

Measures of success:
In the first few months, you would have:

  • Developed a clear understanding of our internal brand and tone of voice to nail our messaging for all internal content.
  • Built great relationships with key team members and wider stakeholders in the business to support the planning and delivery of campaigns and activations.
  • Developed a good understanding of our content roadmap and the platforms we use to content plan like Asana and our internal comms platform Workplace.

Responsibilities of the role:

  • Source, edit, and publish news across a variety of our internal channels, including our internal comms platform, internal screens, and email marketing.
  • Own and manage our internal comms platform, monitoring and approving content daily.
  • Own the development and delivery of communications strategies to help shape and amplify messaging for key culture projects, like DE&I, our ‘Brighter’ purpose tentpole campaigns, and other strategic priorities.
  • Act as a trusted partner and sounding board to the wider Talent Development & Culture team, advising on messaging and delivery, using data and insight to support your recommendations.
  • Partner with our wider People & Culture team to create simple and engaging communications to promote and amplify existing programmes that drive engagement, e.g., perks, reward, career, and development.

What you will need:
We’ll count on you to develop and implement innovative activations, capable of the following:

  • Be able to simultaneously lead, coordinate, and implement a number of internal comms campaigns on time and to budget.
  • Be a strategic thinker with the ability to translate strategy and insights into comms activities and take a hands-on approach.
  • Be organised and love handling complex projects.
  • Have a passion for the latest tech/trends, with a curiosity about discovering and testing new comms tools and channels.
  • Have excellent comms skills, with a passion for translating complex business content into simple, engaging content that resonates with our people.
