Working with internal stakeholders and consultants to develop and implement an asset health metric and serviceability framework.
Developing and maintaining project roadmaps to achieve the milestones of the business and critical stakeholders such as our Monitor, the Office of Rail and Road, and Department for Transport.
to liaise across National Highways, its contractors and suppliers and to support colleagues in developing high quality evidence to support medium to long term investment planning of renewals across the full spectrum of asset classes.
Document strategic and technical solutions and communicate to all stakeholders, to support implementation and to ensure the availability of audit evidence.
An understanding of asset management, ideally with some experience developing and/or working with asset health and serviceability indicators.
Ability to manage projects involving technically minded stakeholders.
The role of the Strategic Asset Investment Planning team is to develop analytical capability and evidence to support renewals investment planning. We liaise across the business and provide regulatory challenge then ensure messages are communicated clearly and consistently to DfT and ORR. We are located within the Company’s Customer Strategy and Communications Directorate and help build the evidence base to support future renewals investment planning, working with our colleagues from across the business, in particular Operations, Safety, Engineering and Standards and Commercial teams.
