As a Senior PR Account Manager or PR Account Director, you’ll be the primary point of contact for our clients, ensuring their needs are met and their expectations exceeded. Your ability to understand their business inside and out will be crucial as you develop and implement monthly PR plans that align with their goals and target audiences. You’ll be the mastermind behind pitching story ideas and securing media placements across various channels, from print to digital and broadcast media.

Writing is at the heart of what we do, and you’ll excel at crafting compelling press releases, articles, and social media content that captures attention and drives action. Your proactive approach will see you constantly identifying new opportunities to promote our clients and enhance their reputation. You’ll also be the go-to person for issues management, helping clients navigate potential pitfalls with effective strategies.

Measuring the success of our campaigns is vital, and you’ll be adept at leveraging key metrics and analytics to refine our strategies and deliver insightful reports to clients. You’ll also play a pivotal role in mentoring and guiding account executives and junior team members, helping them develop their skills and reach their full potential.

Building and maintaining relationships with journalists, media outlets, and influencers is a key part of this role. Your strong network will be instrumental in securing media coverage and enhancing our clients’ visibility. You’ll also stay ahead of industry trends, conducting thorough research and analysis to identify potential risks and opportunities.

More about you

We’re looking for someone who is passionate, creative, and driven. You should have a proven track record of at least 5 years in PR, with experience in managing integrated PR, communications, and marketing campaigns from concept to execution. You’ll have great financial services experience and knowledge. Your leadership skills will shine as you provide clear direction and feedback, and your exceptional written and verbal communication skills will help you craft compelling narratives.

Interpersonal skills are essential, as you’ll be establishing and maintaining relationships with clients, media professionals, and internal stakeholders. You’ll have a deep understanding of both traditional and digital media landscapes, including social media platforms and influencer marketing. Proficiency in PR and analytics tools will be key to your success, and your strong organisational skills will help you manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.

Strategic thinking is a must, as you’ll need to analyse data and make data-driven decisions to optimise our PR campaigns. Ideally, you’ll have a background in PR, journalism, or communications, and while knowledge of financial services or construction markets is beneficial, it’s not essential.
