Contract: Mon - Fri, 8:30AM - 3:30PM - Term Time Only

Salary: M1 - M6 Teaching pay scale - Final salary based on experience

As a SEND Teacher, your responsibilities will include:

* Planning and delivering high-quality lessons tailored to the individual needs of students SEND

* Creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment

* Differentiating instruction to accommodate the diverse learning styles and abilities of students

* Implementing EHCPs and interventions to address the specific needs and challenges of students

* Collaborating with parents, carers, and external professionals to develop and implement effective strategies

* Monitoring student progress and assessing learning outcomes to inform instructional planning and ensure that individual learning goals are met.

* Maintaining accurate records of student progress, behaviour, and achievement, in accordance with school policies and procedures.

To be considered for this role, you must have:

* An Enhanced DBS check, demonstrating suitability to work with children and young people.

* Previous experience working within a school setting, preferably with children on the autistic spectrum or with sensory/speech impairments.

* A QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or relevant teaching qualification, demonstrating your knowledge of effective teaching practices.
