We are currently looking for a Communications Specialist, to cover maternity leave on a part time basis. The main responsibilities will be generating content for internal newsletters, corporate communications and whitepapers. Talking with key internal stakeholder and experts, collaborators and customers, the communications specialist will engage and inform across and outside our global organization.


Generate content for internal newsletters, corporate communications and whitepapers
Talking with key internal stakeholder and experts, collaborators and customers, the communications specialist will engage and inform across and outside our global organization
Meet with and interview operational and technical leads across global organization to generate engaging and informative content for internal newsletters
Collect success stories and prepare them into content for internal and external audiences
Write company content for website, blog and social media channels
Supported by scientific and technical writers, generate whitepapers and insights into key areas
Work with key senior stakeholders in creating corporate external communications including assisting with press releases and associated corporate communications
Meet with and interview customers and collaborators as required to generate content.


Experience of writing content for online or print is essential
It would be advantageous to have experience working within corporate communications or journalism.
Experience of scientific companies is advantageous but not essential.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office
Excellent communication skills and fluent English, both verbal and written
Ability to write engaging content to high standard.
A flexible, can-do attitude
A proactive and creative thinker
Ability to speak any additional languages spoken at Biosynth global sites would also be advantageous but not essential.


The role can be a remote working position,
