Digital Trading is one of the key strategic growth & efficiency improvement areas for MS Amlin. Digitalisation of our offering is essential for maintaining our position, enhancing client intimacy, improving efficiency and building out our presence in the European SME markets.
The goal is to develop and maintain the Digital capabilities to support the Digitalisation within MS Amlin.
You will be part of the Digital Trading team which brings product development and business together as close as possible to design, develop and enhance our digital underwriting products.
The insurance market is developing quickly and Digital solutions in the SME segment will continue to grow significantly. The Digital Product Analyst is a key player within the in-house development of the Digital capabilities including working with external vendors such as Acturis, Socrates, Mendix, Socotra, Lexis Nexis and various internal departments and stakeholders.
The Product Analyst understands commercial insurance and is able to gather requirements, build and update specifications, schedule and plan monthly maintenance and product batches, create test plans and carry out UAT testing. The Senior Digital Analyst is also the go-to person for developers and underwriters in case of questions/issues. The Senior Digital Analyst also understands the digital process, downstream implications and is aware of upcoming regulatory changes for areas such as Insurance Act, Data Protection Act, FCA, GDPR.
In an increasingly competitive market, it is vital for us to differentiate ourselves in all segments and routes to market. MS Amlin operates within a dynamic and challenging environment over multiple territories across the globe, where it is a leader in a number of markets. This entails having a true understanding of the needs and behaviours of our clients and MS Amlin has identified Digital Trading as key to this distribution. Digital Trading is essential to MS Amlin’s future P&C strategy. The Digital Business Analyst plays an important role to make this a success.
Frequent travel to MS Amlin’s offices (UK and Europe) is required, flexibility is a must. Good understanding of Digital software houses and the lifecycle and processes of Etrade transactions
Previous data warehouse and SQL experience, ability to create and execute data queries
Able to create test plans and carry out UAT testing
Must be able to regularly travel to London with occasional travel to Europe
