Vivienne Westwood is looking for a Senior Product Development Lead to join the Product Development – Jewellery Team in our Elcho Street (London) Office on a Full-time basis for 12 Months.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Production Development:
- Create and update the seasonal collection timeline and critical path.
- Ensure adherence to deadlines for collections and special projects.
- Co-ordinate with teams in London, Thailand, Operations, and Commercial departments.
- Oversee research for materials and components.
- Manage copyright and IP for jewellery collections.
- Handle orders for SMS (Sales samples) and PPS (Pre-production samples).
- Report UK/European development to the Head of Collections (Jewellery).
- Maintain inventory of London stock and manage data collection.
PLM & JOOR:
- Input and oversee information for collections on PLM.
- Set and manage seasonal timelines for PLM and Joor.
- Troubleshoot PLM and Joor issues, offering training and support.
- Write collection descriptions and maintain photography guidelines.
E-Commerce & Digital Marketing:
- Collaborate with the e-commerce team on website and digital marketing issues.
- Review and proofread website content and digital marketing posts.
Sustainability:
- Gather and report on seasonal sustainability targets.
- Act as the central co-ordinator for sustainability information.
- Develop product passports for jewellery ranges.
- Attend sustainability meetings and update the team on findings.
- Research ethical and sustainable materials.
Invoicing & Accounting:
- Generate and process purchase orders.
- Follow up on credit notes and update development cost summaries.
- Provide monthly and weekly expenditure reports.
Merchandising:
- Range planning expertise
- Data analysis
- Advanced merchandising knowledge
- Cross-functional collaboration & Problem-solving
- Relevant experience and industry knowledge
PROFILE & KEY SKILLS
- 4+ Years experience in a similar Product Development role
- Adept in Communication with internal teams and Key Stakeholders
- Data driven. Strong analytical and numerical skills. Confident using Excel and Microsoft
- Able to manage small team and their workload. Delegate tasks effectively
- Able to identify critical issues and opportunities
- Natural problem-solver who can translate analytic data into strategic ideas
- Ability to multitask, manage and prioritise workloads to meet deadlines
- Self-motivated and driven to achieve deadlines, often while working independently
- Photoshop – Desirable but not essential
- Experience with JOOR and PLM platforms
