SRG are excited to be partnered with a global organisation who are at the forefront of health and environmental research to help them find an Analyst to join their busy lab team.
We are looking for someone with a background in mineralogy and testing of soil and/or asbestos and has used techniques like gravimetric analysis, FTIR and XRD among others.

The successful candidate will receive an excellent benefits package as well as a chance to further develop their technical skills.

Carrying out analysis of soil and mineral samples
Asbestos testing- training can be provided
Completing routine laboratory support functions as part of the wider team including general housekeeping, apparatus cleaning and maintenance
Following the company quality system requirements including compliance with ISO 17025 (UKAS Accredited)
Relevant scientific degree or equivalent hands on experience in a similar field
Experience of testing such as FTIR, XRD, gravimetric analysis and asbestos testing
Experience of a range of ICT including Microsoft Office and databases
