Overview: As a Facilities Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and safety of The building during its preparation for occupation. Your responsibilities will include managing contractor access, facilitating access to required locations, overseeing lift operations, managing waste, ensuring compliance with building safety regulations, and assisting with general building operations duties. Key Responsibilities: * Managing Contractor Access:
- Control and monitor contractor access to and from the building.
- Ensure adherence to security protocols and procedures.
- Maintain records of contractor entry and exit times
- Escort contractors to required locations within the building.
- Facilitate access to designated areas as per project requirements.
- Ensure visitors comply with safety regulations and guidelines.
- Monitor and manage lift operations to ensure smooth functioning.
- Coordinate lift usage to minimize disruptions and maintain efficiency.
- Respond promptly to any lift-related issues or emergencies.
- Oversee waste disposal procedures and practices.
- Ensure proper segregation and disposal of waste materials.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in waste disposal areas.
- Assist in conducting compliance checks related to building safety regulations.
- Identify and report any safety hazards or non-compliance issues.
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to address compliance requirements.
- Support various building operations tasks as needed.
- Assist with minor repairs, maintenance, and upkeep activities.
- Respond to ad-hoc requests and tasks to ensure smooth operations
