Job Title: Project Quantity Surveyor Company: To be discussed (Residential Arm of Tier 1 main contractor) Location: Kilburn Project Details:
- Project Value: £40 million
- Project Duration: 2.5 years
- Administer JCT Design and Build (D&B) contracts.
- Ensure all contractual obligations are met and documented.
- Manage and oversee all contractual documentation.
- Prepare and manage project budgets.
- Conduct cost analysis and cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage subcontractor and supplier payments.
- Produce detailed financial reports.
- Monitor project progress and performance.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications and requirements.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders.
- Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and audits.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry (in the UK).
- Proven experience with JCT Design and Build (D&B) contracts.
- Experience working on residential projects.
- Proficient in cost management software and other related tools.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and legal requirements.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
