Technical Officer Wealth Operations

Rate: PAYE: £13.50

Location: Hybrid – Fareham – 2 day a week

Duration – 12 months

Role Summary:

HSBC are currently recruiting a Technical Officer Wealth Operations who shall be part of the Global Operations team to assist in producing HMRC trust tax returns and individual tax liabilities for trust.

Key Responsible

  • a high-quality service to produce HM Revenue & Customs Trust Tax Returns
  • calculations and payments of individual tax liabilities for Trusts
  • and dispatch of Income Tax certificates for all personal and trust investment portfolios
  • work is completed within Trust Services Service Level Agreements
  • projects with key regulatory changes
  • in producing Management Information (MI)

Knowledge and Experience:

  • knowledge of wealth/trust products
  • knowledge in such systems as WGHSS, GHSS HUB, IMS, Phoenix, TLM, TradeWeb, Unavista, EY First, MD3, CGiX, Browser Main Menu & HNET
  • experience of data handling and analysis
  • attention to detail, with widespread knowledge of Excel and Visual Basic
  • potential problems and challenges, mitigating their impact and all associated risk
  • approach with a proven record of strong decision making
