The position for a Senior Structural Engineer within this company has been earmarked as a stepping stone for the successful candidate to eventually take on further responsibility and develop into an Associate Director role.
This consultancy pride themselves in handling a wide variety of projects and are currently working on numerous major developments in residential, commercial, industrial projects. The Senior Structural Engineer will be working with a group of enthusiastic engineers working on challenging and high-profile projects. Roles and Responsibilities of a Senior Structural Engineer:
• Structural analysis and design.
• Managing and running structural design projects
• Monitoring project progress, budgets, and schedule
• Site visits, carrying out desktop investigations, attending site meetings and checking progress and quality of work on site.
• Liaising with contractors, clients, and architects.
• Representing the company at design team and contractor/client meetings and business.
• Development/networking events as may be required.
• Communicating clearly with team members, manager and contractors, architects, clients.
• Provide technical direction and mentoring to graduate engineers
To be successful for the Senior Structural Engineering role, you must have proven years of experience working in multi-disciplinary infrastructure project delivery position.
Ideally with master’s degree in civil or Structural Engineer with design experience of Structural Engineering, Building Design to British and European Standards.
Must be excellent in technical writing and presentation skills with proven ability to manage multiple projects.
