Role Overview:
As Head of Sales, you will be responsible for leading a small, established team while overseeing the entire sales strategy and execution. You will work closely with the leadership team to define and implement sales initiatives, as well as oversee the marketing efforts to drive brand awareness and business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, motivate, and manage the sales team to meet and exceed targets.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy, focusing on growth and customer retention.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure alignment of sales and marketing efforts.
- Identify new sales opportunities, including new markets and potential clients.
- Analyse and track sales performance and report on progress to senior management.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners.
- Oversee the pricing strategy to ensure competitiveness and profitability.
- Manage and optimize sales processes and systems.
Must-Haves:
- Proven experience as a sales team leader or manager, ideally in (Furniture/Home Accessories/Gifts/Tourist Trade) B2B sales.
- Significant experience in wholesale sales and the dynamics of this industry.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong strategic thinking and ability to drive business growth.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in sales software and CRM systems.
Location Requirements:
- Applicants must be based within 1 hour of Redditch, Worcestershire.
