Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Business Development Manager at Elyon Healthcare in Northampton, with flexibility for remote work. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and promoting Elyon Healthcare's specialist care services. They will also develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth and expand market presence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Expansion: Lead the development and expansion of supported living services into new areas, including identifying and securing new properties and establishing partnerships within but not limited to the midlands region.
- Client Acquisition: Drive the acquisition of new clients, including individuals, local authorities, and the NHS, ensuring consistent business growth.
- Tender Writing: Prepare and submit tenders for new contracts and opportunities within the healthcare sector, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and contractual requirements.
- New Ventures: Identify and initiate new business ventures within the healthcare sector, with a focus on supported living and community care services.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including local authorities, healthcare providers, and potential clients.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to meet company growth targets, including market analysis and competitive positioning.
- Team Leadership: Lead and manage a small team, ensuring that business development objectives are met, and providing guidance on best practices.
*Qualifications and Experience:*
- Proven experience in a Business Development role within the healthcare sector, specifically in supported living or related services.
- Demonstrable success in writing and winning tenders.
- Strong understanding of the health and social care landscape, including knowledge of NHS frameworks and local authority contracts.
- Experience in starting and scaling new ventures locations within the health and social care sector.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and drive projects forward with minimal supervision.
Preferred Skills:
- A background in healthcare management or a related field.
- Strong network within the health and social care sector.
- Proven track record of achieving business growth targets.
