I am seeking a Managing Director to provide strategic, commercial, and operational leadership for our award-winning food manufacturing company. This role is central to driving forward ambitious growth plans and scaling up production without compromising on quality. Collaborate with the Group Financial Director to oversee financial performance, maximise profit, and manage budgets.
Apply sales and marketing knowledge to make informed commercial decisions.
Work with the Group Head of People to foster a high-performance culture and lead a management team across various departments.
Manage wage budgets and oversee the annual salary review with the Group’s People team.
Recruit, onboard, and retain high-quality staff, ensuring their continuous development.
Champion food safety culture and maintain our AA BRC grade.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a food manufacturing environment.
At least 2 years at Commercial Director or Managing Director level.
Financial acumen with strong data analysis and problem-solving skills.
People-focused with excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects.
IT literate with proficiency in Outlook, Excel, and Word.
