THE ROLES

Within the London team's SustainableMaritime ESG Legal Transport practice.

The roles will involveadvising clients across the entire physical transport chain in thegreen and sustainable maritime space, with a focus on maritime (airpollution) regulations and environmental compliance, decarbonisation,ESG, alternative and sustainable maritime fuels andtechnologies/solutions.

Experience in, or a desire to commit tothis specialism, is preferred.

The candidates may also berequired to support cases that involve commercial shippinglitigation.

ABOUT YOU

Lawyers with 1-2pqe+and 4pqe+ to senior level, you will have experience in the energy ormaritime and transport sector, advising on physical transportcontracts and disputes arising.

This will include advising oncharterparties, bills of lading, contracts of affreightment, salecontracts, ship management agreements, handling disputes in theEnglish High Court and arbitration

Knowledge and experiencedealing with global (MARPOL) and regional regulations (EU Fit for 55)impacting the maritime sector with knowledge and experience ofadvising on fuel / bunker disputes would be desirable.

You willalso be expected to play an active role in practice and businessdevelopment, including writing articles and briefings for publications/ clients in relation to the Sustainable Maritime Legal Transportpractice

International travel may be required
