Scrub Nurse/ODP – Brand New Ophthalmic Clinic - Taunton – Up to £40,501 Working Hours: Days Only – 7:30am until 5:30pm shifts We are currently looking for a Scrub Nurse/ODP to join a fantastic new Ophthalmic Clinic in Taunton, Somerset. The clinic is part of one of the UK's leading Ophthalmic Care Providers and the largest provider of cataract surgeries in the UK. They are looking for experienced RGNs/ODPs to join their growing team. We have worked closely with this provider on opening many of their new services and received outstanding feedback from nurses and ODPs working there based on the quality of training, work-life balance and standards of the services. The company is recognised nationally for the excellent standard of care & industry leading patient satisfaction reports. The benefits of this Scrub Nurse/ODP role include:
- Generous pay - up to £40,501
- 2x discretionary annual bonuses worth up to 5% annual salary each
- Only 1 weekend shift per month
- Outstanding training & development opportunities
- Free DBS
- Provide Scrub/ODP assistance and experience for clinical procedures.
- Assist the consultant and clinical team in the delivery of all ophthalmic care.
- Manage all the theatre equipment daily.
- Admission and discharge of patients on theatre days.
- Adhere to the principles of clinical governance and NMC or HCPC guidelines.
- An RGN/ODP qualification
- Previous Theatre/Scrub Experience
- Current registration with the NMC and a legal right to work in the UK
- The ability to use your skills to develop care plans and risk assessments
