Behaviour Inclusion Mentor Are you passionate about supporting students to overcome challenges and succeed in their learning journey? Do you have experience in behaviour management and a commitment to promoting positive behaviour and inclusion? We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behaviour Inclusion Mentor to join our team and make a real difference in the lives of our students. This position will be based at a primary school in Harehills commencing September 2024 on a long-term, temporary contract. About the Role: As a Behaviour Inclusion Mentor, you will work closely with students, teachers, and families to support the social, emotional, and behavioural needs of our students. You will provide one-on-one mentoring and support to students who may be experiencing behavioural challenges, helping them to develop coping strategies and build positive relationships. Your role will involve implementing behaviour management strategies, facilitating small group sessions, and promoting a culture of respect and inclusivity throughout the school. You will collaborate with teachers and other staff members to develop individualized support plans and monitor student progress towards behavioural goals. Based at a primary school located in the vibrant community of Harehills, Leeds, dedicated to providing a nurturing and inclusive learning environment for all our students. Requirements: Experience working with children or young people in a behaviour support or mentoring role is essential. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and families. A compassionate and empathetic approach, with a genuine desire to make a positive impact on the lives of our students. Knowledge of behaviour management strategies and a commitment to promoting positive behaviour and inclusion within the school community. Relevant qualifications or training in behaviour support, counselling, or a related field would be advantageous. Team Teach qualification is highly beneficial.
