Requirements: As a Science Academic Coach, you will have at least a bachelor’s degree in a science related field, along with a warm, friendly personality. You must have a clear, concise communication style, as well as the confidence to share your advanced knowledge of scientific concepts with KS3 and KS4 students. You will be enthusiastic and driven and prepared to partake in activities with the wider school community. Previous experience of working with students, or in a school setting, is beneficial but not essential. The Role In your role as a Science Academic Coach, you will be responsible for assisting teaching staff in the planning and delivery of engaging lessons, and the creation of learning materials that adhere to the GCSE science national curriculum.
