Principal Estimator - Permanent - Derby - Tier 1 Contractor - Major Water Framework - Hybrid Working - Civils Your new company
You will be joining a Tier 1 contractor working on a major water framework in the Midlands region. This multi-accredited contractor has a strong pipeline of work in the water sector, and they are currently working on clean water and wastewater schemes valued up to £6m. This contractor offers excellent opportunities for career progression and professional development and due to continued success, they are looking to onboard a Principal Estimator to join their team.
As Principal Estimator you will be based in their Derby office and be responsible for, but not limited to, attending project start-up meetings and attending site visits, identifying tender deliverables, preparing commercial submission and tender handover documentation, reviewing and checking contract documentation as well as attending tender price settlement meetings.
In order to be successful, you will have proven successful estimating experience in the water and/or utilities sectors and be able to estimate from first principles. In return, you will receive a basic salary of up to £76k/annum and package (including company car or allowance (£6.5k/annum), hybrid working, min. 24 days' annual leave (option to buy more) plus statutory holidays, 8% matched pension contribution, 10% bonus, life assurance and other benefits) as well as the opportunity to grow and progress your career with a leading contractor.
