Job Title: IT Field Engineer
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday 08:30am - 16:30pm.

Provide 2nd/3rd line IT support across multiple sites in the South West, resolving incidents, service requests, and problems. Act as an escalation point for 1st/2nd line engineers, support infrastructure and applications, and assist with new technology rollouts.
Act as first point of escalation for 1st/2nd line engineers and manage site relationships.
Collaborate with IT Service Desk, Infrastructure, and Applications teams to improve services.
Conduct root cause analysis and support remediation/prevention plans.
Configure/manage user accounts and permissions (AD, M365, Azure, Google Workspace).
Support servers, networking (Cisco Meraki, Smoothwall, LAN/WAN), telephony, printers, and mobile devices (Jamf/InTune).
Provide remote and on-site support across multiple locations.
Contribute to knowledge base and service improvement.
Ensure compliance with company policies, data protection, safeguarding, H&S, and equal opportunities.
3–5 years’ experience in 2nd/3rd line support or MSP environment.
~ Strong knowledge of Windows server environments, desktop/server platforms, AD/M365/Azure/Google Workspace.
~ Experience with cloud solutions, network technologies, security, and device management (Jamf/Intune).
~ Troubleshooting hardware/software, scripting, and ITIL practices.
~ Preferred: virtualization, VOIP/telephony, network management tools.
~ Strong diagnostic, organisational, and customer service skills.
~ Experience with service desk products and knowledge sharing.
~ Willingness to travel across UK sites and maintain professional qualifications.
