What you’ll be doing:

  • Ensuring the reliable delivery of heat, chill, and power to both commercial and residential customers
  • Leading and managing a team of engineers with a focus on HSE leadership
  • Overseeing the financial management of the site and managing maintenance contracts
  • Developing operational strategies aligned with business goals
  • Identifying and resolving plant issues to improve reliability and availability
  • Managing and monitoring contractor performance

What we want from you:

  • ONC/HNC/HND in a relevant engineering field preferred
  • IOSH or equivalent certification is essential
  • At least five years' experience in a similar role within the district heating, CHP, Energy from Waste, or Biomass sectors
  • Strong experience in commercial contract management and strategic decision-making
