Bid Writing Manager

Bid Manager - experience leading on Proposal Development/ Bid Management - circa £45k 2 days a week in the office (Liverpool)
We are working with a leading and award-winning international commercial law firm with offices in Liverpool, Manchester, London, Leeds, Newcastle, Piraeus, Singapore, Monaco and Hong Kong.
We collaborate with teams across the firm’s three divisions – business services, healthcare, and marine – to produce high-quality responses to opportunities of all sizes. Project managing tenders from initial assessment of the opportunity, including bid/no bid qualification, through to drafting, submission, preparing teams for presentations and post submission feedback and reporting.
Researching and establishing procurement cycles and engaging with procurement professionals within key target and key client organisations to contribute to the firm’s sales pipeline.
Take responsibility for additional projects, as directed by the Head of Bids and Proposals.
Prior experience in a tender management and a bid writing capacity.
Proven ability writing concise written bid responses based on highly technical information.
Degree or equivalent qualification in creative writing, English or Marketing.
Strong organisational and planning skills.
Exceptional project management skills.
Advanced IT skills across a broad range of applications including MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
APMP (Association for Proposal Management Professional) Foundation Certification or strong understanding of proposal best practice.
