We are a 16 bed supported accommodation based in Chorlton.
We are recruiting for a Team Leader and Recovery Support Workers to join our team.
To provide individual/group support to people recovering from long term mental illness who may have an overlying learning disability, enabling them to live a fulfilled life in the Community as independently as possible by monitoring the duties of Recovery Support Workers on a daily basis and deputising for the Manager in his/her absence.
The basic role and requirements of a recovery support worker with additional duties such as:
* The general monitoring and supervision of junior care staff ion a daily basis.
* You will be expected to be fully flexible working, long days, waking nights, weekends and bank holidays
* Ensuring that the appropriate support is given to all tenants as identified in the Support Plans and that such support is correctly recorded.
* Medical, Paramedical etc.)
* To attend reviews concerning tenants and help to provide current and accurate information concerning tenants prior to their review.
* To liaise with other disciplines (Social Workers, medical staff, etc.) To provide a quality service in keeping with the Company’s Policies & Procedures and Statutory legislation (e.g. To attend staff meetings and participate in group/individual supervision and training.
* Must have Diploma Level 3 or a Diploma Level 2 working towards a 3 with Senior Care experience.
* Must have Current Safe Handling of Medication Level 2.
* Must be able to work a shift pattern including days, nights and weekends (Full flexibility)
* Must have access to transportation for on call duties and ability to support the service as needed.
Full clean driving license is desirable.
