The school are seeking a dedicated and experienced SENDCo to join their Senior Leadership Team. The successful SENDCo will play a pivotal role in leading and managing the provision for pupils with SEND, ensuring that all children have access to an inclusive and high-quality education. Other responsibilities will include; taking a strategic role in School Improvement and a leading role in improving the provision provided to pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities, deploy Leaning Support Assistants in line with SEND need across the school and contribute to the recruitment, selection, appointment and professional development of Learning Support Assistants. The successful SENDCo will have: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant SEND qualification. Extensive experience working as a SENDCo within a primary school setting. Proven track record of improving outcomes for pupils with SEND. Strong knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice and current legislation. Excellent leadership, management, and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively with staff, parents, and external agencies. Experience as part of a Senior Leadership Team is desirable.
