Fetcham Surrey, United Kingdom Jigsaw Education Group Full time

At Jigsaw Education Group we believe that all children deserve to grow up happy and healthy, with the life skills to

understand themselves and the world around them and be prepared for the opportunities and challenges of adult life.

We do that by helping schools with the holistic development of their students, by providing comprehensive PSHE and RE programmes for schools along with expert training and support, so that teachers are prepared and confident to deliver these difficult to teach topics.

We are already the market leader, with nearly 10,000 schools trusting Jigsaw programmes, and a growth strategy to

reach even more schools, teachers and children.

That’s why we are seeking a Part Time Regional Advisor (3 days per week) for London and the South-East who would be a passionate advocate of high-quality, comprehensive RE and PSHE provision and excited to share Jigsaw’s programmes with schools. You will be able to inspire teachers to deliver meaningful Religious Education, building relationships with key stakeholders to ensure Jigsaw RE meets the requirements of locally agreed syllabi. You will join a team of Regional Advisors, reporting to the Regional Lead – East, who support each other to develop regional plans to increase the uptake of Jigsaw’s programmes in schools.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Devise and lead the regional plan for increasing take-up of Jigsaw’s programmes in schools:

 Develop a Regional Strategy to ensure Jigsaw becomes the leading Primary Programme provider for PSHE and

RE across that region

 Devise and execute a regional plan for your area to drive greater awareness, demand and ultimately adoption of

Jigsaw programmes, including but not limited to:

 Promoting Jigsaw RE to schools in the region by running trials

 Ensuring high quality marketing materials are produced for your region, contributing to content as required.

 Representing Jigsaw at relevant regional events e.g. conferences/associations

 Developing regional networks with schools and other professionals

 Building effective working relationships with regional colleagues in Sales and School Support

Provide RE subject specific expertise to ensure Jigsaw RE is current, compliant and relevant to your region.

 Work with the Jigsaw RE Programme Lead and alongside the other Regional Advisors to bring a consistent

approach to the expansion of Jigsaw RE across England and Wales

 Research the nature of RE provision and key issues/requirements for RE in your area including:

 Agreed syllabi for local authority schools and MATs

 SACRE involvement

 Key stakeholders to engage

 Use this to inform your regional plan in a strategic and systematic way.

 Keep abreast of national and regional news, research and initiatives in RE and education across the UK to help

inform Jigsaw’s RE strategy

 Support the Jigsaw RE Programme Lead with mapping documents or content development (as needed and

dependent on capacity)

 Be vigilant regarding the representation of balance, equality and diversity in Jigsaw RE and work associated

with it.

Support programme implementation and drive high levels of engagement and satisfaction with Jigsaw’s programmes:

 Run network events for teachers in the region to enable them to deliver high quality RE.

 Have a basic understanding of all Jigsaw’s programmes to be able to answer straightforward questions and

signpost schools to sources of additional support and training e.g. webinars, Mentors, school support.

 Source school feedback about all programmes and share this with Programme Leads.

KEY RESULTS/OBJECTIVES

Business Development

 Drive awareness and understanding of Jigsaw RE and PSHE that supports Jigsaw new business sales

performance

 Enlist schools for managed trials in-line with regional strategy

Regional Positioning

 Engage and meet with individuals and organisations relevant to driving growth of Jigsaw RE (e.g. endorsement,

networks, partnership, etc)

 Engage with and develop online presence on social media to promote products/resources and write think

pieces/articles to promote Jigsaw RE as thought leaders within the RE community

 Create resources for use locally over next quarter leading to increased interest for sales in region

Customer satisfaction

 Provide regionalised support to existing Jigsaw schools – lighter-touch PSHE, more in-depth RE

 Design and deliver webinars and regional training for schools when required
