Electrical Safety Test Engineer Ref. Manufacturing
This role is available full-time for 37 hours per week.
Flexible or compressed working patterns available.
Where you also play a part in national security engineering?
Do you want to expand and develop your existing electrical safety testing skills?
Working in our advanced manufacturing facility, you will use your existing skills and experience within a team of manufacturing engineers working on projects critical to protect national security.
and writing and reviewing evaluation reports.
One day you could be completing an evaluation, the next you could be assessing material properties.
A background in product safety testing.
A clear understanding of safety engineering and assurance principles.
Experience and knowledge in one or more electrical safety standards e.g. particularly in Microsoft Office applications.
Experience of safety critical function design/development of electrical products.
Enjoys coming up with creative solutions.
Complete electrical safety evaluations and reports.
25 days annual leave, rising to 30 after 5 years service.
~8 Bank Holiday days off in addition to your annual leave.
