Marketing and Admissions Assistant

Based in central Bath, Advanced Studies in England is a small, dynamic study abroad programme for undergraduates from top US colleges and universities.

We are now seeking a full-time Admissions and Marketing Assistant to join our hard-working, friendly team.

Start Date: August 19, 2024 tbc

Hours: 5 days per week, Mon-Fri; some evening and weekend work

The Role:

You will be working alongside the Admissions and Marketing Manager to produce online content designed to promote our outstanding study abroad Programme, and assisting in vital admissions admin work.

You will also support the Team in all aspects of the Programme’s operations, including student welfare, communications and the day-to-day staffing of our busy study centre.

This is a great ‘starter position’ for anyone interested in the field of international education, and keen to join an organisation which genuinely values creativity, diversity, inclusivity and sustainability.

Skills and Requirements

Essential

  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
  • Efficient administrator with high level of computer literacy and attention to detail
  • Strong knowledge of Google platforms, especially sheets and forms
  • Effective producer of written and visual social media content for Instagram and other platforms
  • Passionate interest in travel, the arts and humanities
  • Undergraduate degree (2:1 or above)
  • Existing right to work in the UK

Desirable

  • Familiarity with Canva and video editing software, esp. DaVinci Resolve
  • Previous experience of marketing and/or admissions work
  • Knowledge/experience of international education

Benefits

  • Salary of £23,000 per annum

  • Occasional participation in (all-expenses-paid) overnight and day trips to Oxford, Stratford-upon-Avon, London etc
  • Scope for some remote working between terms
