We are seeking a motivated Rooms Division Trainer to join our team here at Claridges.

Scope and Purpose
Working closely alongside the Director of Rooms and with all Heads of Department within the Rooms Division, this role will assist in meeting and exceeding the division's training requirements in accordance with Claridges policies and procedures. To maintain and enhance the hotel's reputation while ensuring business objectives are achieved. To oversee, direct, and support training within the division to ensure team members confidently meet guest needs and exceed their expectations. To ensure team members meet or exceed the divisions standards, as well as LQA, Forbes, and Claridges service standards.
Main Duties
You will be responsible for preparing all personalised programme for new employees ensuring they fit in with both the needs of the business and the individuals development requirements.
Your role will ensure that you carry out initial computer training for employees on basic tasks in their specific positions. To include SMS, Guest History and our reservation systems to ensure an efficient and professional skilled service prior to joining the desk. You will then continue to evaluate the individual staff requirements to help with development when required.
The role will also include a buddy support function, ensuring that team members always have a contact available for assistance and support.
The Rooms Division Trainer role will be a mix of office-based and operational to ensure that a full understanding of this business needs is maintained at all times. As a Rooms Division Trainer, you will cover training requirements for Reception, Guest Relations, Butlers, Concierge and Telecoms team.
Entry Requirements
We are looking for astrong, motivated individual, ideallysomeone who has worked in a similar role within the hospitality or travel and tourism industry. The personwill be a team player who is an avid learner, adaptable and has exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
