We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant specializing in challenging behaviours to join our team in Hackney. This full-time, long-term role starts ASAP, providing you with the opportunity to make an immediate impact. You will work closely with Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 students in a supportive and inclusive environment. The successful candidate will foster strong relationships with parents, ensuring a collaborative approach to each child’s educational journey. This position offers a unique and rewarding opportunity to work in a diverse and vibrant community, making it the best choice for a TA passionate about supporting students with challenging behaviours.
Previous experience working with children exhibiting challenging behaviours, ideally in an educational setting.
• Relevant qualifications or training in special educational needs, behaviour management, or child psychology (desirable).
• Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with challenging behaviours, implementing individualized behaviour management strategies.
• Assist in the development and execution of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) to meet the specific needs of each student.
• All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification.
