PURPOSE OF ROLE: To ensure the company receives fair entitlement to all amounts due whilst ensuring good governance and project controls are maintained. The QS will be working on aa variety of contracts supporting our Industrial and Defence Business Units. Reporting to the Commercial Manager and independent of the site operations team the QS will ensure good governance and project controls are maintained. The QS will work collaboratively with the Project Manager and site teams to verify progress, control expenditure, and ensure the company’s financial objectives are met whilst delivering a first-class service to the customer.
The Quantity Surveyor will be the Customer’s day to day point of contact for all commercial matters on the contract.
Accurate reporting of progress and contract position
Production of estimates and pricing work
Managing Sub-Contractor accounts
Timely capture and agreement of contract variations with customers
Experience carrying out QS duties working in the Industrial and Engineering Sectors.

A Quantity Surveying degree is desirable but not essential for a candidate who can demonstrate the required skills and experience having held a similar role with a leading Industrial Services business or PQS practice.
