Day and Night Loading Bay Operatives – Sporting Facility South West London InVictus are working with a large sporting venue in South West London. Whilst leading up to their busy period of the year they are looking for multiple Loading Bay Operatives to assist with duties on site for up to 2 months worth of work. Hourly Pay Rate of up to £19 per hour for day positions and up to £22 per hour for night shifts. Requirements for Day & Night Shift Operative:

  • Banksman Awareness / Management
  • Basic computer skills
  • Electric pallet truck licence up to 2 tonne is preferable
  • Full driving licence required
  • Good communication skills
  • Manual Handling Course attendance is preferable
  • Valid counterbalance licence up to 3 tonne required
Main Duties for Day & Night Shift Operative:
  • Assist with all Loading Bay duties to include loading and unloading of customers and suppliers’ vehicles
  • Be able to assist with lifting and shifting stock
  • Be able to provide an effective shift handover
  • Be proficient in forklift driving
  • Be willing to assist other areas of the warehouse as and when required
  • Any damages or concerns to be reported to the Loading Bay Supervisor on daily handover
  • Ensure damages to stock, machinery and racking are minimal and reported, where necessary, carry out safety checks or procedures (as detailed by Loading Bay Supervisor)
  • Ensure delivery notes are checked and given to the correct person (Delivery Schedule)
  • Ensure good control and management of the waste processes contained within the Loading Bay area
  • Ensure safe pedestrian movements are maintained
  • Follow safe working practises at all times
  • Maintain a clean and tidy Loading Bay and surrounding areas
  • Provide excellent customer service at all times
  • Work closely at all times with the Security team, and assist as and when required
  • Work closely with contractors/suppliers and support the Loading Bay operation
