Purpose of the role:

We are looking for an Assistant Head Sommelier to assist the head sommelier and the sommelier team in the day to day running of the Great Gallery restaurant.

Responsibilities:

  • Creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere
  • Passionate about delivering first-class customer service
  • Monthly stock take
  • Support with staff training
  • Advising members on wine lists
  • To lead and manage the sommelier team and running a station in the Great Gallery when necessary

About you:

  • Fine dining experience leading a team of sommeliers
  • WSET level 2/3
  • Comprehensive knowledge of world wines and beverages
  • Awareness of Licencing laws
