Organization: Mercor Position: PK/PD Module Expert: Translational / Clinical Pharmacology Decision-Maker Referral partner: Crossing Hurdles Type: Hourly Contract Compensation: $175–$250/hour Location: Remote Duration: Varies by project (1–3 months typical) Commitment: 10–40 hours/week Role Responsibilities: Write “golden” FIH dose rationales and escalation strategies for representative drug programs. Translate senior translational decision-making heuristics into clear, structured rubrics for AI evaluation. Identify when model-based recommendations are insufficient and surface real-world decision trade-offs. Provide governance-level reasoning around dose selection, exposure, safety, and translational risk. Convert narrative judgment into explicit decision rules that reflect best practices in clinical pharmacology. Requirements: Strong years of experience in translational or clinical pharmacology roles within major biopharma, biotech, or consulting. Direct experience owning FIH starting dose, SAD/MAD designs, and Phase 2 dose selection for multiple assets. Proven governance exposure: IND sign-off, dose justification memos, or exposure–response presentations. Strong ability to integrate tox, PK, PD, potency, and MoA data into actionable dose decisions. Skilled at defending dose/exposure rationale in front of senior leadership or regulatory teams. Experience leading clinical pharmacology strategy for ≥2–3 assets.
