Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician (Automotive OEM)
5% shift allowance + 3 rotating shifts (earlies, lates, nights) + Healthcare + Bonus + Benefits
Are you an experienced Maintenance Technician looking to play an integral role within a global leading manufacturer, with a competitive package, where you will lead and mentor in best -of-class performance?

This is a position that will be responsible for maintaining all manufacturing plant, equipment and facilities in good working order and to improve equipment reliability by increasing the mean time between failure (MTBF) while reducing the mean time to repair (MTTR).

This role would suit a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician or similar from Automotive or Aerospace, looking to work on a variety of technical projects for a prestigious manufacturer that they would be proud to represent.
Carry out repairs to all types of plant and equipment in a safe, timely and professional manner.
Assist in the development of planned preventative maintenance schedules (PPM).
Operate maintenance Fork Lift Truck and Elevated Working Platform as required.
Make full use of the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
Manufacture spare parts as required (Simple Bracketry Gaskets etc) using lathes, milling machines, welding equipment, etc.
Typical example of work would be to respond to maintenance request for equipment fault, diagnose fault repair and return equipment to operational service. A process of dynamic risk assessment is operated).
Mechanical / Electrical based apprenticeship with City & Guilds or equivalent qualifications.
Proven experience working with both relay logic and PLC control systems.
