Supermicro Computer is looking for an experienced Sr. Director, Global Business Development who can help grow our market share in Fortune 500 accounts, GenAI CSP's and VARs. Design, implement and drive robust & creative growth plans that meet/exceed new business targets and customer retention objectives with the Sales Account teams.
Responsible for building a team of professionals over time leading growth initiatives and driving performance and services excellence expectations.
Continuously seek new opportunities to improve team performance and effectiveness.
Analyze performance of team members on an ongoing basis to identify opportunities for performance improvement and ensure accountabilities are being met.
Ensure team staff provide excellent support to customer in fulfillment including forecast, inventory control, allocations, ETA and backlog management.
Visit customers and help them identify opportunities and improve sales and marketing strategies in selling Supermicro products.
Reports into SVP Global Business Development, based in California
Bachelor's degree; Master's degree in Business or Management related is a plus
Minimum 15 years of sales experience in computer, server, or hardware industry is preferred
Deep knowledge in server, storage and management solutions, knowledge in Cloud data centers and the enterprise IT environment.
