Sales Development Representative

Our client:
- Market-leading bakery business, renowned for their high-quality bakery products that are available to grab on-the-go.
- Our client offers over 500+ premium frozen baked good products and pride themselves on innovation and high-quality products.
The role:
- Reporting into the channel sales manager, the sales development representative will be responsible for managing and developing existing retail accounts, as well as winning new business within a specific territory.
- As the sales development manager, you will visit existing customers and work with them to grow sales (80% of the role). This will include introducing additional products, NPD, promotions etc.
- The sales development manager will also proactively search for new business and win new accounts (20% of the role)
- The sales development manager will be responsible for managing retail and convenience accounts in their territory on a daily basis and achieving the required frequency of visits.
- Taking a proactive approach, the sales development manager will share territory business plans with the channel sales manager, seeking continuous improvement and setting targets for future action.
- The sales development representative will be a strong communicator, ensuring seamless communication with your telesales buddy to ensure growth plans are harmonised.
- This role has great progression opportunities with all higher-level sales roles within the company having progressed from a sales development representative.
- This role is field based.
Ideal candidate:
- Confidence and great communication skills are essential.
- The ideal candidate will have strong organisational skills and take a proactive approach to their work.
- The ideal candidate will have FMCG experience
- Field Sales experience preferably within a Retail Convenience setting is desirable
- Strong relationship building skills are key.
- A commercial, entrepreneurial attitude is ideal.
Benefits & details:
- £32,000 + generous commission structure + annual bonus +car + benefits.
