We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our Software Development team in Cardiff Bay. ActiveQuote provides Life, Health and Income Protection insurance advice to customers via a wide range of insurers, including Aviva, AXA, Bupa, Vitality, AIG, L&G to name but a few.

We operate some of the UK's leading price comparison sites for Health Insurance, Income Protection and Life Insurance with significant innovations and USPs through our world-leading software. We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer as one of the driving forces behind our digital solutions. You'll work collaboratively within our development team, utilizing your expertise in both back-end and front-end technologies by using vast capabilities of Microsoft Azure.
NET Framework, ASP.NET, ASP.NET Core, C#, Angular, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and more to create seamless, user-centric applications. Experience in Cloud technologies, Agile/Scrum methodologies and having ambitions to deliver high-quality code are pivotal aspects of this role.

You will be using industry best practice and standards to develop new websites and applications and improving existing ones. Lead end-to-end development: from conceptualization to deployment ensuring robust and scalable solutions.
Design, develop and enhance our digital platforms using the latest software technologies.
Design and implement cloud-native applications leveraging Microsoft Azure services for scalability, reliability, and security.
Work in cross-functional teams with other software/data/test/infrastructure engineers.
Uphold quality standards and best practices, ensuring the highest quality deliverables.
Proven experience in both back-end and front-end development.
NET Framework, .NET Core, ASP, C#, MVC
Proficiency with Angular, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related technologies.
Strong understanding of web services, API’s, SQL databases, and CMS frameworks.
Experience in responsive web design and familiarity with testing frameworks.
Proficiency in Cloud technologies especially with Microsoft Azure
Proficiency in Agile development and CI/CD practices
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.
