As the firm consolidates its powers in infrastructure engineering, systems engineering, and financial market interactions with a data-driven methodology, you will lead the charge to low latency in connectivity.

The role provides a once in a lifetime opportunity for someone to dissect this HFT's time series network and exchange protocol captures and tune for low latency by building on your expertise of various markets and exchanges then planning and executing to make the global trading infrastructure of this HFT as fast as possibly it can be. If you have an understanding of the full stack of trading platforms and want to take control of a firm's charge into even lower latency realms then apply below.

The mission
Oversee and refine global trading infrastructure - conducting performance evaluations and optimizations
Coordinate and examine time series network and exchange protocol captures for low-latency
Work with counterparts to optimize market and exchange system interactions
Plan and implement technical projects to enhance trading systems (Linux, hardware, network, etc.) for speed, adaptability, and maintainability
Design and perform controlled experiments to assess the impact of calculated modifications to trading infrastructure
Automate and troubleshoot a wide range of technical infrastructure including custom system components

You
Expertise in installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of Linux systems, encompassing hardware, kernel, and applications
Over 7 years of relevant experience supporting a complex trading environment, with an advanced understanding of proprietary trading and exchange technologies, particularly in low-latency infrastructure
Strong knowledge of TCP and UDP network protocols
Familiarity with the intricacies of modern computer systems and networks, with an emphasis on low-latency optimization
Experience with Python and other programming languages is desirable
Experience with FPGA, Microwave, and Wireless technologies is desirable
Strong understanding of capture and timing infrastructure
