Up to £70k + Bonus (7-20%) + 15% Pension

An industry-leading insurance client has recently gone through a large merger which has led to lots of transformation and change across operations and technology. The organisation is actively transitioning to a more agile/product-led environment.

As the Delivery Manager you will be reporting directly to the head of IT Delivery, this role will require you to act as the bridge between technical teams and the business. You will be responsible for the delivery of technical projects, mainly around finance. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing all external 3rd Party suppliers.

This will be an externally facing role constantly pushing and managing Stakeholders/ suppliers. Furthermore, you will also be responsible for the technical delivery of medium to large IT projects. As the delivery Manager you will be managing projects in Azure DevOps and Delivery will be a blend of Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

Experience Required:

  • Delivered large IT/Technical Projects (Ideally around Finance)
  • Strong technical understanding – full software development lifecycle
  • Strong hands-on experience in Agile/Scrum methodology,
  • Must have Azure DevOps experience
  • Excellent Supplier Management
  • Stakeholder Management/Engagement/Negotiation

Desirable:

  • Worked in the Insurance/Financial sector
  • Mergers/Acquisitions
