You will be joining the Technology team as a Front Office Business Analyst allocated to a cross-functional team aligned to Investment Management Programme of work . Elicit requirements using appropriate methods including interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, business process and workflow analysis.
Work closely with business stakeholders and Project Manager to define project requirements and scope.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery using Agile methodologies.
Utilise SQL, Excel, PowerBI and other relevant tools to gather, analyse, manipulate and document data – be able to translate this into technical specifications for data engineers to implement.
Engage with the Business Analysis team for knowledge sharing and guidance.
Set the direction and use standards and tools (such as Azure DevOps, LucidCharts, Miro, MS Teams etc.) for successful project delivery.
Experience of working with Blackrock Aladdin, supporting Front Office on a diverse set of projects and complex requirements
Strong understanding of asset management functions, knowledge of financial data and asset classes (Fixed Income and Equities)
Strong data-analysis and technical skills – using SQL, Power BI, Excel, and Python
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with audiences of varying levels of business and technical understanding and seniority.
Experience of working as part of an Agile delivery team.
