We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our projects team and own the end-to-end management of high-impact product development and client implementation projects that align with our strategic objectives.
Position: Senior Project Manager
Location: Remote / Home Based / Occasional Travel
Reports To: Head of Projects
Employment Type: Full-Time / Flexible Hours
Salary: Competitive (experience dependent)
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage multiple strategic software development projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.
- Lead and manage software implementation projects alongside the ROCC implementation team.
- Develop detailed project plans and project reports including functional deliverables, timelines, resource allocation and risk management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software developers, product consultants, QA, and UX/UI designers, to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, providing regular updates on progress, challenges, and solutions.
- Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring timely resolution of issues to keep projects on track.
- Ensure adherence to software development best practices, standards, and methodologies.
- Drive continuous improvement in project management processes, tools, and techniques.
- Mentor and guide other team members to foster a culture of excellence and collaboration.
Ideal Qualifications and Experience
- Degree level education or equivalent.
- 8+ years of experience in software project management, with at least 3 years in a senior role.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering complex software development projects on time and within budget.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC), Agile, Scrum, and other project management methodologies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively under pressure.
- PMP, CSM, Prince2 or equivalent certification / experience
- Jira, Github, Figma or equivalent tools
