We are a UK-based game studio, working on a title called Project Wraith, in partnership with Team 17.

Interested in working on a shooter ma de with one goal in mind - beautiful, fun gameplay. We're getting rid of as many frustrating elements of modern FPS games. Focused purely on infantry combat, expect constant action. Zero anti-consumer nonsense.

Role Description

This is a full-time remote contract role for a Gameplay Programmer / C++ / Unreal Engine 5. You will be responsible for developing and implementing game mechanics, gameplay systems, and features using C++ and Blueprints and collaborating with designers and artists to bring game concepts to life and optimize game performance.

Qualifications

  • Game Programming, Gameplay Programming, and Programming skills
  • Knowledge of GAS (Gameplay Ability System)
  • Understanding of network replication and correct practices
  • Experience in Object-Oriented Programming
  • Strong knowledge of Game Design principles
  • Ability to work with game assets and animations and collaborate with the art team.
  • Familiarity with Unreal Engine 5, Jira and Perforce
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities
  • Familiarity with key concepts of the First Person Shooter genre
