Fulkrum is looking for a dynamic Marketing Manager to shape and execute our marketing strategies. This brand-new role is crucial to our growth and success, offering you the opportunity to enhance our brand presence, drive engagement, and support our business objectives.

Key Stakeholders: VP, Regional Manager, Key Accounts Managers, HR, QHSE, Compliance and other senior leaders. The role will be supported by and will involve line management responsibilities for two junior team members (graduate and business apprentice).

Role Overview:

The Marketing Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing Fulkrum’s communication marketing strategy. This brand-new position is crucial to our growth and success. The ideal candidate will be responsible for enhancing our brand presence, driving engagement, and supporting our business objectives. This role involves significant elements of internal and external communication, supporting sales, and working closely with key account managers and senior leaders.

Objectives:

  • To build measurable trust, loyalty, and a positive perception of the company that attracts and retains clients.
  • To develop the employer brand.
  • Measurably increase brand awareness and visibility.
  • Drive customer engagement and lead generation in line with agreed KPIs.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing communications strategy to support Fulkrum’s global business goals. Effectively communicate the brand value proposition internally and externally.
  • Manage and oversee all global marketing activities, including digital marketing, content creation, social media, and public relations. Track and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create compelling marketing materials and campaigns that resonate with our target audience.
  • Monitor and analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to inform marketing strategies.
  • Coordinate and manage external agencies to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Plan and execute events, webinars, and other promotional activities to enhance brand visibility and engagement. This includes both Fulkrum’s corporate brand and its employer brand.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and industry influencers.
  • Ensure all marketing and communication efforts align with Fulkrum’s brand values, guidelines, and agreed messaging style, including tone of voice.
  • Assist in sales activities and initiatives to drive business growth and achieve sales targets. Support business development managers globally. Provide the sales team with relevant materials to position the company as an expert and preferred business partner. Assist the sales team with responsive, customised solutions throughout the sales process, from initial contact to contract signing and onboarding.
  • Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources.
  • Oversee the creation and maintenance of the company’s website and other digital assets. Develop and oversee a rolling website content development plan ensuring the website is optimized and up to date.
  • Utilize and develop current CRM systems to enhance customer relationship management.
  • Provide training and support to internal teams on marketing tools and best practices.
  • Plan and execute a digital marketing strategy using agreed digital tools.
  • Plan and execute campaigns across digital, social media, email, content marketing, and offline channels. Ensure timely and budget-compliant execution.
  • Maintain an understanding of the competitive landscape and market trends.
  • Assist with the design and delivery of the Internal Comms Plan regarding the company’s direction and activities.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • Associate or full Member of The Chartered Institute of Marketing
  • Proven experience in a marketing or communication role, preferably within the energy sector or a related industry.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media, and content creation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and creatively to develop innovative marketing solutions.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in marketing software and tools, such as CRM systems, analytics platforms, and content management systems.
  • A proactive and results-driven mindset with a passion for marketing and communications.
  • International experience is preferred to effectively support our global business development managers.
