Interim Product Designer - £40,000 - 9 Month Contract – Remote
In Product is partnered with a privately owned, established and steadily growing E-Learning business who have an ever growing reach globally into thousands of institutions and millions of students.
This business has a unique positioning in the education market, they have specialised in one sector of education which has allowed them to become experts in this field, and gain partnerships with well-known and admired experts in their field.
As a Product Designer you will be joining the team for maternity cover and will work as the sole Product Designer. You will join an established team working collaboratively with a Product Manager and a team of developers in a squad format running weekly sprints. You will have the ability to work with breadth reporting into the executive team, working as an end to end Product Designer autonomously to identify and deliver feature improvements within their Product.
You will be joining this business as they pivot from being a content platform to an educational enrichment platform. As Product Designer your role will play a key role in the progression of this platform, making educational content easily accessible and personalised as well as enriching the teacher experience to plan lessons which elevate student experience.
We are looking for a Product Designer who is driven by growing a content driven platform to elevate learning experiences.
To do this you will need to:
Have experience working in the educational space. You must have worked in a business where you understand the complexity of the educational system, and how to delight users within.
Be able to adapt to a small team, whether you have worked in a Startup previously or worked as part of a squad within a larger organisation. You will be able to demonstrate your resourcefulness, the ability to work with breadth and communicate to varying stakeholders.
Have worked end to end across web experiences, combining both the role of delivery and strategy.
Be confident to autonomously problem solve, you will take a research and data driven approach to Product design.
Be able to work with an established Design System to implement and innovate within the business guidelines.
