Organization: Mercor Position: PK/PD Modeling / Pharmacometrics Lead Referral partner: Crossing Hurdles Type: Hourly Contract Compensation: $150–$200/hour Location: Remote Duration: Varies by project (1–3 months typical) Commitment: 10–40 hours/week Role Responsibilities: Evaluate PK/PD and exposure–response model outputs for plausibility and quantitative rigor. Identify non-plausible parameter spaces, unsafe extrapolations, and high-risk assumptions. Design clear model evaluation rubrics that separate credible vs. non-credible predictions. Define quantitative sanity checks and failure conditions (parameter limits, curve fit quality, coverage issues). Provide example “gold-standard” PK/PD fits and concise reasoning behind key modeling decisions. Requirements: Strong years of experience in quantitative pharmacology, PK/PD modeling, or pharmacometrics. Strong hands-on experience with exposure–response, population PK, and parameter estimation. Proficiency with NONMEM, Monolix, or similar modeling tools. Ability to interpret model results for dose justification and decision-making.
