Our client, a Global end-user are looking for a Finance Business Applications Manager to join their team on a full-time permanent basis. This role is a blend of business analysis and project delivery, focusing on financial applications.
As a Finance Applications Manager, you’ll partner with the business to drive change and maintain continuity, ensuring efficient and productive financial operations. You’ll support the implementation of technology solutions that align with both group-wide goals and local regulatory needs, turning strategic ideas into real results. Candidates will be required to be in the Berkshire office 3 days a week.
Key Skills and Experience:
- Experience with EPM systems (FCC with Planning) or HFM
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, ideally in technology, computer science, or finance
- Hands-on experience in business application support
- Proven ability to conduct workflow analysis, review business processes, and create functional specifications
- Ability to collaborate effectively with third-party solution providers
- Strong knowledge of Oracle products, particularly JDE E1 and OAC, is highly advantageous

Main Responsibilities:
- Provide business application support to finance, focusing on reporting, KPI metrics, and more
- Conduct process analysis and improvement, primarily in finance but applicable to other areas as well
- Identify and present business cases for new solutions and improvements to existing ones
- Stay informed on trends to establish best practices for business applications and financial solutions
- Develop functional specification documents and evaluate business requirements
- Lead or contribute to project delivery, ensuring successful outcomes
- Manage the full implementation of solutions from start to finish
- Offer training and end-user support to finance teams on various applications
- Test and validate solutions, ensuring data accuracy
- Create and maintain business process documentation and knowledge bases
- Undertake any additional duties as required
