Position: React Tech Lead Location: Cambridge, UK Contract: 6 month Experience: 7+ Years Key Responsibilities: Lead the development of React-based applications , ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability. Collaborate with UX/UI designers , backend teams , and business analysts to translate requirements into technical solutions. Define and enforce coding standards , best practices , and design patterns for front-end development. Perform code reviews , mentor junior developers, and provide technical guidance. Optimize application performance and troubleshoot complex issues. Work closely with onshore/offshore teams and manage client interactions effectively. Ensure compliance with security standards and accessibility guidelines . Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to technical roadmaps. Required Skills & Qualifications: 6–8 years of experience in front-end development, with at least 3+ years in React.js . Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3 , and TypeScript . Experience with Redux , React Hooks , and Context API . Familiarity with RESTful APIs , GraphQL , and microservices architecture . Hands-on experience with Webpack , Babel , and modern build tools . Knowledge of unit testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library). Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices . Excellent communication and leadership skills; ability to manage client expectations. Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies . Knowledge of Next.js , Node.js , or Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) . Familiarity with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) . Understanding of performance optimization techniques for large-scale apps.
